EMERYVILLE, Alameda County — November 4, 2026. The first overnight count in Emeryville shows David Mourra and Kalimah Atreyu Priforce in the two leading positions for two available City Council seats. Four candidates appeared in the race, and the current rankings remain unofficial.
The four-candidate field
The Alameda County Registrar of Voters’ Preliminary/Unofficial Update #3 at 12:29 a.m. records David Mourra at 1,403 votes (39.73%), Kalimah Atreyu Priforce at 1,012 (28.66%), Corry Frydlewicz at 650 (18.41%) and Brandon Soublet at 466 (13.20%). Voters could choose no more than two candidates.
Why the percentages require care
The percentages represent the share of votes reported in a multi-seat contest, not necessarily the percentage of individual voters choosing each candidate. The county marks both Emeryville precincts as partially reported, notwithstanding its displayed 100% precinct reporting figure.
What comes next
Officials will continue checking valid vote-by-mail, provisional and other ballots as required by law. Emeryville residents should use the official county page for later counts and should not treat these initial rankings as certified winners.
